The Agent
Katie Ferriello

Katie Ferriello is the newest literary agent to join the Mansion Street Literary Management team. Her focus is on romance and fantasy, as well as children’s fiction. She particularly loves fantastical worldbuilding, deeply emotive characters, and strong voices.
Katie earned her BA in English from Manhattan University and a M.Ed. from Fordham University. Her love of reading led to teaching middle school English for nearly sixteen years. Later, she became a real estate agent, which she still does part-time. She combined her love of books and business, interning at two different agencies prior to becoming a literary agent. Grateful for her English degree, business experience, and contract/negotiation knowledge, she is ecstatic to apply those experiences to her true calling. Though born in New York, she currently lives in Utah. In her spare time, you can find her camping, mountain biking, skiing, traveling, reading and writing.
Some of Katie’s favorite books:
Adult: Manacled, Fourth Wing, Divine Rivals, Pride and Prejudice, The House on the Cerulean Sea, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue, The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper, The Overdue Life of Amy Byler, Mistress of Rome.
KidLit: The Book of Stolen Dreams, From the Desk of Zoe Washington, Nevermoor series, The Forgotten Magic of Zoey Turner, Amari and The Night Brothers, The Hunger Games, A Curse So Dark and Lonely, Sky in the Deep, The Afterlife of Holly Chase.
Favorite shows: Outlander, Blood of My Blood, Ted Lasso, Wednesday, Stranger Things, Arrested Development, Schitt’s Creek.
